Captain of Bicycle Industry talks sense!

I didn't think I would live to see the day when a major player in the industry, in this case John Burke of Trek Bicycles, would promote cycling as a solution to some of the world's problems- ferinstance obesity, pollution, congestion, instead of merely as a recreational or sporting activity.
The gist of Burke's speech at this year's Taiwan bicycle show is that 'The (bicycle) industry's greatest opportunity and challenge is to create a bicycle friendly world', and that to do so would be 'the #1 way to grow the bicycle business....'

Well, duh...
